This way! That way!

Ahh, my first deviation for 2016! Thought I'd do a couple proper character designs with them interacting. The piece features my OC Christian Hunter (he's fun to draw, m'kay? XD ) and my friend Ratchet-Halo's OC Cherry Hunter. No, they aren't boyfriend/girlfriend, brother/sister (although their relationship is similar), but they're cousins. Yes, that is the Mortal Kombat logo drawn onto Chris' shirt. XD
Man, hands aren't easy to draw. I actually used my own arm and hand and took photos of it for reference. XD I'm still not completely happy with Cherry's legs and her raised arm, but I'm fairly happy with the overall finished piece. I'll keep working on my anatomy! The style of shading was fairly new to me, and it's one I like. Definitely doing this kind of shading again.
